How to Exploit Abstract User Interfaces in MARIA
نویسندگان
چکیده
In model-based approaches, Abstract User Interfaces enable the specification of interactive applications in a modalityindependent manner, which is then often used for authoring multi-device interactive applications. In this paper we discuss two solutions for exploiting abstract UIs. We consider the MARIA language for such comparison. The overall aim is to improve the efficiency of the model-based process, thus making it easier to adopt and apply. Author

A New Trust Model for B2C E-Commerce Based on 3D User Interfaces
Lack of trust is one of the key bottle necks in e-commerce development. Nowadays many advanced technologies are trying to address the trust issues in e-commerce. One among them suggests using suitable user interfaces. This paper investigates the functionality and capabilities of 3D graphical user interfaces in regard to trust building in the customers of next generation of B2C e-commerce websit...
متن کاملModel-Based Design of Speech Interfaces
The increasing availability of various types of interactive platforms has raised the need for design environments able to support development of user interfaces that exploit interaction modalities other than the traditional graphical interfaces. In this paper we present a model-based solution to help designers in the development of voice applications. In particular, we focus on how to derive a ...

For this purpose we extend...
متن کاملDistributing User Interfaces with MARIA
The increasing interest for distributed user interfaces needs languages that better support their specification in multidevice environments. In this paper we discuss an approach to specifying this type of user interfaces, and how it is applied to an extension of the MARIA language aiming to provide flexible support for the description of distributed user interfaces. متن کاملSelecting and Extracting Effective Features of SSVEP-based Brain-Computer Interface
User interfaces are always one of the most important applied and study fields of information technology. The development and expansion of cognitive science studies and functionalization of its tools such as BCI1, as well as popularization of methods such as SSVEP2 to stimulate brain waves, have led to using these techniques every day, especially in appropriate solutions for physically and menta...
